We spoke to mum, Cassie, to learn a bit more about their journey with the Ookkie. Here's what she had to say.
What was your reason for getting an Ookkie?
Dad skateboards and the girls love jumping on the board with him!
Describe the learning experience on the Ookkie for us.
The girls love testing their centre of gravity while balancing. Frankie has picked up her balance very quickly and enjoys going fast and bombing down the path.
Do you get any comments when you're out and about riding the board?
People always make comments and say how cool the Ookkie is for the kids! Whenever we are out with the Ookkie people stop to watch.
How has the Ookkie helped your little one in their development?
Improved balance, greater awareness of centre of gravity, learning how weight distribution works.
How has the Ookkie become a part of your family life and routine?
Fin asks to go to the skatepark all the time to practice and Frank loves using the Ookkie when we walk along the river or beach paths.
